Remembrance Day Ceremonies Across the Region
Local communities are preparing to remember the sacrifices of veterans. Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held at various locations across the region around and on November 11.
- Saturday, November 8, 2 pm: Alfred cenotaph
- Sunday, November 9, time not specified: L’Orignal cenotaph, beside the entrance to L’Orignal Park
- Sunday, November 9, 2 pm: Vankleek Hill cenotaph, beside the post office on Main Street
- Tuesday, November 11, time not specified: Hawkesbury Cenotaph, beside Cartier Boulevard and the entrance to the Robert Hartley Sports Complex
These ceremonies are organized by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 472 in Hawkesbury.
