Efforts to diversify crop options in northern Australia are gaining momentum, with trials of kalonji and fennel this season showing promising results.
Researchers from CQUniversity's Institute for Future Farming Systems have been collaborating with the Cooperative Research Centre for Developing Northern Australia and industry partners since 2019 to identify and develop new spice crops.
