Kyle Larson made history on Sunday, leading a race-high 129 laps before finishing second at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Larson passed Kurt Busch for 20th on the all-time list with 10,356 laps led in his career. He collected 19 stage points and moved 35 points above the cutline.
"Hats off to my team, too," Larson said. "We had an awesome day as well. Good points day, obviously.
Alex Bowman finished seventh after strong runs on Sunday. Larson is in good shape to make more history in the weeks to come.
