A slow-moving storm is expected to strengthen, bringing high winds, heavy rain, and potential flooding to Maryland's Lower Shore.

According to Accuweather, the Delmarva area will feel the worst impact of the coastal storm on Sunday and Monday, Oct.

"This will be a damaging storm for some along the Atlantic coast,"

said AccuWeather Chief On-Air Meteorologist Bernie Rayno. The forecast for Saturday, Oct. 11, indicates a calm day, with storm conditions picking up later.
