Financial Education Workshop Series by NeighborImpact
A series of financial education workshops will be offered by NeighborImpact from November to February in Madras.
The workshops will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Public Health Conference Room, using a 'lunch and learn' method. There will be four workshops in total, focusing on unique curriculum from the "Money on the Mind" program.
Workshop Focus
The 4 workshops will focus on cash flow management, helping individuals understand consistent payments, such as bills and paychecks.
"Cash flow management I think is sort of an initial step toward budgeting,"
said Jeff Belzer, who will be running the workshops. He emphasized the importance of cash flow management, especially considering individual financial situations, payment schedules, and bill due dates.
