Call for Nominations: 2026 Herty Medal
The American Chemical Society Georgia Section is seeking nominations for the 2026 Charles Holmes Herty Medal, recognizing the work and service of an outstanding chemist in the southern US.
By Sara Cottle, the award honors chemists with significant contributions to the field, covering research advances, business trends, and more.
- Nominees may come from academic, government, or industrial settings.
- Must have resided or worked in the southeastern US for more than 10 years.
The award recipient will be honored at an awards banquet in fall 2026, receiving a gold medal commemorating Herty's work.
Nominations are due by January.
