Thames Path Extension: Heathwall Quay Opens
Walkers from Vauxhall to Battersea Power Station no longer face a diversion onto a busy road thanks to the opening of Heathwall Quay.
The previous interruption was caused by the Heathwall Quay pumping station, but the Tideway Tunnel Project's completion has eliminated the detour.

We’re not entirely confident that these short, stumpy spikes will provide much of a deterrent.
