Pensievision Wins Luminate NY Competition
Pensievision has been named the winner of the Luminate NY OPI Accelerator competition, securing a $1 million investment from New York State.
The company, which has developed a 3D imaging approach for demanding environments, plans to use the funding to anchor its growth in the region by engaging with local supply chains, hiring engineering talent, and partnering with Rochester-based design and manufacturing firms.

Four further companies have also secured follow-on funding, and Pensievision has been awarded “Company of the Year” at the Luminate Finals 2025.
Luminate NY, administered by NextCorps, is the world’s largest business accelerator for emerging companies with technologies enabled by optics, photonics, and imaging.
