Response to "The DMV: Humanity's Greatest Crime Against Itself"
The DMV is not a bureaucratic plague that seeks control and total cultural annihilation.
Recently, Joe Rudolph published an article in The Observer, titled "The DMV: Humanity's greatest crime against itself", where he makes unsubstantiated claims against the Department of Motor Vehicles.
He claims that the DMV is a shadowy syndicate hellbent on manipulating human behavior and reshaping civilization through regulation and fear.
Rudolph's article is unproductive and lacks evidence to support his claims, especially at a critical point in the country's history.
There are more relevant and better arguments to be made in public discourse, such as political opinion articles.
