From Chemo to Checkered Flag: Young Connor's Inspirational Story

Eight-year-old Connor Moulton has emerged as a winner, despite the outcome of the Bathurst 1000.

Connor has been battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for two years, facing numerous side effects and challenges, including losing his ability to walk twice.

The fear that comes with childhood cancer is unlike anything else.

Now cancer-free, Connor's story was showcased at the Bathurst 1000, thanks to V8 SuperUtes driver Jimmy Vernon, an ambassador for the Kids with Cancer Foundation.

Vernon became a friendly face for Connor during his toughest days in hospital.
