Azerbaijan, Belarus Expand Industrial Collaboration
The 15th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus is being held in Baku.
Co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Natalya Petkevich, the meeting discussed ongoing collaborations.
- Assembly of agricultural and special-purpose machinery at the Ganja Automobile Plant with Belarusian cooperation.
- Expansion of local elevator production in Azerbaijan through long-term cooperation with Belarus and partnership with Mogilevliftmash.
Plans include the modernization and installation of 200 elevators, to be completed by 2025.
