Anthony Edwards, one of the most durable NBA superstars, has been diagnosed with a right hamstring strain.
According to Minnesota's announcement, an MRI scan revealed the injury, and Edwards will be re-evaluated in a week.
"I think he'll be alright," teammate Naz Reid said. "We've seen him do that plenty of times before."
Edwards' injury is expected to result in a minimum of three to four missed games, although his return to action may take longer than a week.
