New Gators Guard Boogie Fland Lands on Bob Cousy Award Preseason List
Boogie Fland, a sophomore from New York, was named to the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Top 20 Preseason List.
Fland started his collegiate career at Arkansas in 2024, averaging 13.5 points, 5.1 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game.
He led all NCAA freshmen in assists and assists-to-turnover ratio through the first 18 games of the season.
The Cousy Award is named after Bob Cousy, a 13-time NBA All-Star in the 1960s.
The award has been given out since 2004 and recognizes the best collegiate point guards in the country.
