Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Zander Mueth aims for an injury-free 2026 season.
Mueth was selected 67th in the 2023 draft, with the Pirates investing nearly $1.8 million to sign him away from the University of Mississippi.
In his first professional season, Mueth started in the Florida Complex League, going 6-1 with a 1.58 ERA and striking out 56 batters in 51.1 innings.
He was later promoted to the Low-A Bradenton Marauders, owning a 3.97 ERA in seven starts.
