Nagaland University Inaugurates Cancer Research Lab
Nagaland University has inaugurated a cancer research laboratory at the Department of Zoology at its Lumami campus, marking a significant milestone in the university's scientific advancement and commitment to addressing the growing burden of cancer in the region.
The laboratory was inaugurated by Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, Vice Chancellor of the university, in the presence of faculty members and students.
Patnaik shared his personal experiences on how cancer had profoundly affected his own family, having lost close relatives to the disease.
