Jeremy Renner's Recovery from 2023 Accident
Jeremy Renner, known for his role as McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown, has shared how the show aided his recovery from a 2023 snowplow accident.
Ahead of the fourth season's release on Paramount+ on October 26, Renner spoke about returning to work after the accident.
I didn’t consider really anything for a good while. I mean just maybe the summer maybe I even considered the idea of it. and the just to kind of I have something to look forward to.
Renner explained that the idea of working on Mayor of Kingstown gave him something to look forward to, stating:
The idea of wanting to do Mayor was something to kind of, in the distance, maybe I’m going to get back on my feet again.
Renner began working on the project a year after the accident but admitted he didn't feel physically ready at the time.
