Climate Crisis in Asean
Food security, water scarcity, and flooding are significant transboundary climate risks Asean will face due to the worsening climate crisis, according to Ravi Menon, Singapore's ambassador for climate action.
The more I reflect on this and the more I speak to experts and all manner of people, it’s quite clear that we need to double down on adaptation efforts, both as a country, and also in collaboration with other countries around us for collective action.
Menon emphasized the need for collaboration to tackle these challenges. Key areas of concern include:
