New Adult Book Prize 2025: Nicola Dinan wins inaugural award with Disappoint Me
Nicola Dinan's "rich" second novel Disappoint Me (Doubleday) has won the New Adult Book Prize 2025.
The award was announced at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, where Dinan was crowned the winner after a discussion with fellow shortlisted authors Silvia Saunders and Seth Insua.
Industry professionals, members of the public, the authors' families, and the Readers' Guild attended the event at the festival's VOICEBOX venue.
The Bookseller and Cheltenham Literature Festival founded the prize this year.
Nicola Dinan is the first recipient of the prize.
