Man Jailed for Largest Ketamine Haul in the UK

A 46-year-old man from Merseyside has been sentenced to over five years in prison after being found with £17million worth of ketamine in his van.

Paul Farrelly, from Fazakerley, Liverpool, was stopped by police on the East Lancashire Road on September 16, 2025. During the search, officers discovered 22 sacks of ketamine in the back of the van and a further 13 sacks hidden inside hollow kitchen worktops.

The total street value of the seized ketamine is estimated at £17million, making it the largest haul in the UK.
