Aerin Medical Launches Next-Gen Device to Treat Chronic Rhinitis
Aerin Medical announced the launch of its next-generation RhinAer device for treating chronic rhinitis.
The company, based in Mountain View, California, also stated that UnitedHealthcare's Medicare Advantage policy now covers RhinAer for the treatment of the posterior nasal nerve, effective immediately.

- Treats the posterior nasal nerve (PNN) and targets multiple anatomic contributors to chronic rhinitis
- Temperature- and impedance-controlled radiofrequency device
- Features a stylus to enhance procedural efficiency and patient comfort
The new device includes enhancements such as an atraumatic tip for improved access and visibility, a reinforced and malleable shaft for better tissue apposition, and an ergonomic handle for control in bilateral treatment.
Aerin Medical's new launch comes more than three years after the company launched a previous version of the RhinAer stylus.
