Out of 9,931 candidates, 6,976 passed the July 2025 New York Bar Exam, resulting in an overall passing rate of 70%.
According to Law.com, the exam was administered by the Board.

"Our whole system of structuring representation and counsel and the provision of legal services in this country leaves out a massive number of people,"said Matthew Diller, professor of law and dean emeritus at Fordham University School of Law.
Applications for the MSL in labor and employment law are being accepted for the spring 2026 semester.
