Dr. Duane Sands Eyes Bamboo Town Nomination
FREE National Movement Chairman Dr. Duane Sands is considering the party's nomination for Bamboo Town, according to several sources.
Dr. Sands previously represented the Elizabeth constituency and ran for it on two other occasions, but he may now be shifting his focus to Bamboo Town.
"I would not want to pre-judge their deliberation,"
he said when contacted by The Tribune, declining to confirm or deny the claims.
- Members of the FNM's Bamboo Town association reported being informed that Dr. Sands would be nominated for the area instead of Heather Hunt.
- Internal tensions within the party continue to rise after former MP Renward Wells was denied the nomination.
Dr. Sands is not the only FNM member said to be changing constituencies.
