Charleston-based Vicious Biscuit is growing beyond the Lowcountry with new franchise locations, expanding its Southern breakfast brand nationwide.
The company's story began when co-founder and chef Michael Greeley created the Fat Boy biscuit. In 2017, he started a catering business based on this creation, hoping to grow a food truck business.
Co-founder and CEO George McLaughlin, who previously helped establish the franchise division of McAlister's Deli, joined the company and helped it expand.
Today, Vicious Biscuit has served 826,548 biscuits and shows no signs of slowing down.
