Rose Byrne stars as Linda, a mental health counsellor whose life is falling apart. The film opens on an uncomfortable close-up of her face as a doctor chides her for not doing everything she can to help her daughter heal from a mystery illness.
The film presents a series of obstacles for Linda to deal with, each turn or scene presenting a new challenge.
