Drink Driver Banned from Roads
A 45-year-old man, David Gray, has been banned from driving after pleading guilty to drink driving.
Gray admitted to driving a car with excessive alcohol levels in his breath, exceeding the limit of 22mcg in 100ml, with a reading of 46 microgrammes in 100 millilitres.
- The incident occurred on August 29 this year at Buchan Street, Macduff.
- Gray was driving his Toyota RAV 4 at around 1:45am when police officers stopped him due to the manner of driving.
- A roadside breath test was carried out, which was positive, after officers smelt a strong smell of alcohol from Gray.
Gray pleaded guilty to the charge at Banff Sheriff Court.
