Introduction to 6th & G Breakfast Co.
As someone who doesn't typically eat breakfast, when I do, I like to go big. Recently, I took my teenage daughter to try 6th & G Breakfast Co., the latest project by Rise and Shine Hospitality Group, located at 695 6th Avenue in downtown.
The location was previously home to one of my favorite restaurants, Double Standard Kitchenette, where I had many memorable meals. The new spot has a great location and a unique atmosphere, reminiscent of Wes Anderson, with eclectic art and fun books on display.
The decor features pink coffee cups and saucers, as well as purple, textured goblets for water glasses, showcasing the creativity of its conception. The overall vibe suggests that the creators of 6th & G are experienced in the hospitality industry.
Whoever conceived of this place, it most certainly was not their first rodeo.
