Three Sweeps in Four Games
The Hillsdale volleyball team had a successful run, sweeping both its games in Kentucky against Kentucky Wesleyan College and Thomas More University.
The team's performance against Kentucky Wesleyan was notable, winning all three sets. After a slow start in the first set, they gained an 11-5 lead and finished with a 25-18 victory. The second set saw the Chargers trailing initially, but they rallied to win 25-21. The third set was closely contested, with both teams trading leads until the Panthers had a 23-22 advantage.
The following week, the Chargers suffered a 3-0 defeat from the University of Findlay on Oct. 10 but bounced back to beat Tiffin University the next day. This placed them 6-7 overall and 4-3 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
