Kelowna Airport Thwarts Pro-Hamas Hacker
The City of Kelowna has provided details about the hacking of airport systems on Tuesday.
The hacker hijacked the terminal's flight information screens and PA system, but was shut down "within a matter of minutes."
All affected systems were isolated and verified before being restored late last night.
A threat assessment was carried out by the RCMP and Transport Canada, deeming the hacker's "messaging" not a direct threat to the public.
