Garden Court chambers has defended its immigration barristers, describing them as "among the best in the country" after they were criticized by shadow justice secretary Robert Jenrick.
Jenrick has led a campaign to highlight what he calls "activist" judges, naming two who he believes should not preside over immigration cases, including Mark Symes, a part-time upper tribunal judge and Garden Court barrister.
