Red Cross Volunteers Head to Western Alaska for Flood Recovery

Volunteers from the Red Cross Minnesota and Dakotas Region are traveling to Western Alaska to support recovery efforts after deadly flooding devastated the area.

According to the American Red Cross South Dakota, seven team members from the region (Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota) are joining other Red Cross volunteers from across the country.

The Red Cross is working to support the needs of impacted communities as storm waters recede.
