However, an investigation by PolitiFact found that the intersection where the arrest took place is in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, not Chicago. The intersection features street signs for Morton Street and Glendale Lane, which are visible on Google Maps.
The Hoffman Estates Police Department confirmed that an ICE raid occurred on October 10. Officers in the video wore vests with the letters "ERO," which stands for Enforcement and Removal Operations, a division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement responsible for detaining and removing people illegally in the U.S.
