New Details Emerge in Fatal Shooting of Crystal Galloway Jordan
Authorities have arrested three additional suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of a Martinsville woman, Crystal Galloway Jordan, in August.
According to Jason Vaughan of the Martinsville Police Department, the investigation is "complicated". Interviews with 11 previously arrested individuals led to the identification of the new suspects: Nashawn Lee Corbett, Micah Aaron Holmes, and Kwaheim Hairston.
The suspects allegedly shot Crystal Galloway Jordan on Forest Street in August. A criminal complaint states that
Holmes first shot Jordan in the shoulder, causing her to fall. Corbett then reportedly shot her multiple times while she was on the ground. Hairston attempted to fire again, but his gun jammed.
All three suspects fled the scene shortly after the incident. The police department described the investigation as ongoing.
