Oklahoma's new state superintendent, Lindel Fields, has outlined his priorities for the next 15 months.
Fields, a retired career tech administrator, stated:
None of the 15 months is going to be about trying to convince you to vote for me, so we’re going to focus on education
Fields was sworn in on October 7th, replacing Ryan Walters, and will focus on stabilizing and strengthening the Department of Education.
