Durango Planned Parenthood Clinic to Reopen
The clinic, which closed a year ago due to a provider shortage, will now operate two days a week.
According to Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains CEO Adrienne Mansanares, the local community played a vital role in reopening the clinic.
Our supporters in Durango are outstanding. We've had donors that have jumped in to make sure that we were able to continue paying for the various expenses that are associated with the health center when it's closed.
The clinic will reopen on Monday, operating on Mondays and Tuesdays, with a fully staffed and equipped health center.
The organization is grateful for the community's efforts, which helped cover expenses such as utilities during the closure.
