A funeral home in Texas is under investigation for its handling of deceased individuals. The Richardson Mortuary is at the center of the probe, with disturbing details emerging.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a daughter of a deceased person entered the mortuary in 2014 and made a horrifying discovery. As reported by Houston law enforcement, she found her mother's body in a coffin infested with bugs and in an advanced state of decay.
She also noticed several deceased bodies in the warm building in different stages of decomposition. The building was open to the elements, very dirty, hot, not sanitary and under construction with a strong odor of decomposition.
The investigation is ongoing, with the funeral home's practices and conditions under scrutiny.
