Tennis: 3 Pequot Lakes Players Advance to Section Individual Semis
Claire Oseland and the doubles team of Nikki Crocker and Emme Sullivan will play on Oct. 14.
Claire Oseland advanced to the Section 7-1A individual singles semifinals without dropping a game, defeating Pierz's Addie Thielen and Duluth Marshall's Saanvi Naveen with matching 6-0, 6-0 scores.
In the semifinals, Oseland was to face Class 1A's seventh-ranked Brooke Boland, of Pine City. The Pequot Lakes doubles team of Nikki Crocker and Emme Sullivan also advanced, defeating Duluth Marshall's Lyvia Kamunen-Amanda Winkels 6-1, 6-0 and Elle Kovich-Silvie Lane 6-0, 6-1.
