Reorganization of the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
A special announcement from the Church of Jesus Christ on Tuesday afternoon revealed the newly formed First Presidency.
Dallin H. Oaks, 93 years old, was ordained as the Prophet and formal leader of the 17+ million-member church, naming Henry B. Eyring as a key figure in the new presidency.
President Oaks now leads the church as its new president.
