A total of 16 measles cases have been reported in the Upstate region of South Carolina, with 5 new cases confirmed by the state Department of Public Health (DPH) on Tuesday.
Since July, 12 cases have been directly linked to an ongoing outbreak in Spartanburg County. The recent cases are connected to previously identified cases in school settings, and those individuals are currently quarantining at home.
Anyone who visited the gym between 11 a.m. on September 20 may have been exposed.
No comment from President Donald Trump or Javier Milei on the outbreak.
