False Conflict: Colorblindness and Section Two of the Voting Rights Act

The following is a guest post from Kerel Murray:

Just in time for this week’s reargument of Louisiana v. Callais, a draft of the latest Article, False Conflict: Colorblindness and Section Two of the Voting Rights Act, has been posted to SSRN.

This Article, forthcoming next year in the Fordham Law Review, was relied upon for an amicus brief filed in Callais, with the help of a team at WilmerHale.

I’m grateful to Professor Hasen and the Election Law Blog for letting me draw on the Article and the brief to blog about three points that I think are key to the case.

Author's summary: Kerel Murray discusses colorblindness and Section Two of the Voting Rights Act.
