Harvest Service Raises Funds for Food Bank
New Milton's civic harvest service has raised over £200 in donations for a local food bank.
The service, led by Rev Jon Westall at St Mary Magdalene Church, featured performances by the Highcliffe Percussion Ensemble.
Guest speaker David da Cunha, deputy chairman of New Forest Basics Bank (NFBB), shared that nearly 300 unpaid volunteers helped distribute 4,459 parcels, feeding 10,016 people, between September 2024 and August this year.
