Incident at LSU Baptist Collegiate Ministry
The author attended church at Jefferson Baptist in Baton Rouge on Sunday morning, where the conversation turned to the fact that the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) at LSU had taken bullet damage on Saturday night.
As someone who has a personal connection to the LSU BCM, having worshipped there as an MBA student, the news hit close to home. The author's previous church had also met at the BCM, and their current church was scheduled to help with the BCM at an upcoming football game.
Unfortunately, after having sent my family an “I’m fine” message after the shooting on the Florida-LSU weekend, I’m not shocked that we still have some problems at LSU that haven’t been addressed.
The author is not surprised by the incident, given the previous shooting on the Florida-LSU weekend.
