Appointment of Judges for Rupnik Case
The Vatican has announced the appointment of five judges to oversee the canonical trial of Fr. Marko Ivan Rupnik, a former Jesuit priest accused of psychological and sexual abuse by several adult consecrated women.
The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith released a statement on Monday, stating that the judges were appointed on 9 October, 2025, to form a tribunal that will examine the allegations against Fr. Rupnik.
