The White House has warned that more federal job losses are likely as the government shutdown stretches on, causing frustration nationwide.
"The longer this goes on, the deeper the cuts are going to be,"said senior adviser J.D. Vance, as multiple federal departments confirm employees have already received layoff notices.

"There aren’t Democrat workers or agencies and Republican agencies,"said Senator Mark Kelly, calling the rhetoric divisive.
The shutdown has caused layoffs, funding confusion, and closed museums, fueling frustration across the country.
