South Korean singer Hyuna, 33, fainted during her performance at the Waterbomb Macau music festival on November 9, 2025, raising concerns about her health.
Videos shared on social media showed Hyuna performing her hit song "Bubble Pop!" from 2011 when she suddenly collapsed. Two backup dancers immediately came to her aid, and a security staff member carried her offstage.
Later the same day, Hyuna posted on Instagram to apologise to her fans and reassure them. She wrote in Korean:
“I’m truly sorry. It was only a short time since my last performance, but I wanted to show you my best side.”
She said she did not remember fainting and expressed regret to fans in Macau who had come to see her perform, adding:
“I’ll try to build up my stamina and work hard consistently. It will be so great if everything goes my way, but I’ll try my best.”
