Arkema Showcases at Sustainable Material Expo 2025 Tokyo
Arkema will exhibit at the Automotive Engineering Expo 2025 Yokohama from May 21 to 23 at Pacifico Yokohama. Additionally, the company will participate in the Sustainable Material Expo 2025, part of the Highly-functional Material Week, held from November 12 to 14 at Makuhari Messe.

At the booth, Arkema will present an extensive range of high-performance polymer solutions for diverse industries such as mobility, consumer goods, general industry, healthcare, construction, semiconductors, and water treatment. Visitors can also explore Arkema’s sustainability initiatives.
Sustainability Efforts
Arkema is advancing sustainability in high-performance materials with its flagship product, Rilsan® PA11, fully derived from renewable castor oil. This product has achieved a carbon footprint of only 1.3 kg CO₂ eq. per kg, calculated according to ISO 14040, 14044, and 14067 standards.

Expanding Bio-Based Polymer Production
To address growing demand for transparent bio-based polymers, Arkema is investing in a new Rilsan® Clear production unit in Singapore, aiming to triple its capacity by 2026.
As a leading producer of bio-based transparent polyamides, Arkema offers Rilsan® Clear Rnew® G850 and G820 grades, containing 45% and 62% bio-based carbon respectively. These materials combine lightweight properties, transparency, flexibility, and chemical resistance over a wide temperature range.
