Live coverage of Russia’s war against Ukraine, updated 11 times today, brings new developments from the frontlines.
On November 7, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SSO) reported a successful strike with long-range drones on an oil depot and logistic facilities in Russian-occupied Crimea. The targeted oil depot is near the village of Hvardiiske, approximately 20 kilometers north of Simferopol.
The Special Operations Forces stated: "Special Operations Forces continue to act asymmetrically in countering the enemy's military capabilities."
The attack destroyed a full RVS-400 tank, which is used for storing oil, petroleum products, and other liquids. The SSO also released drone footage showing the strikes.
The Russian occupational administration in Crimea has not responded to the claims. The Kyiv Independent has not independently verified the SSO’s report.
During a briefing with reporters in Kyiv on the same day, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the mass production of one of the war's most popular drones, the DJI Mavic.
Summary: Ukraine's Special Operations Forces conducted drone strikes on key oil and logistics targets in Crimea, demonstrating strategic asymmetric tactics amid ongoing conflict.
