Harvard’s football team has dominated the Ivy League this season, securing victories in all seven games with a margin of at least three touchdowns. This impressive performance earned the Crimson the No. 9 spot in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top 25 rankings — the highest in the program’s history.
In addition, Harvard claimed the 13th position in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Poll, marking its best result in that ranking since 2011. The team’s rise came after a decisive 31–10 win over Dartmouth, boosting their record to 7–0 and leaving them as the only undefeated squad in the Ivy League.
Archrivals Yale and Penn trail with 5–2 records. Harvard will host Penn on November 15 before heading to New Haven for the 141st edition of “The Game.”
“Harvard’s ranking also is significant because Ivy League teams will be eligible for the FCS playoffs this season for the first time.”
Next, the Crimson aim to extend their winning streak to eight games when they face Columbia on the road this Friday night.
