Hayley Williams has returned with a fresh single titled “Showbiz,” teasing a possible upcoming tour supporting her new album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. This release coincides with the long-awaited physical edition of the album.
“Showbiz” features crisp drums, a vocoder-enhanced chorus, and shimmering synth layers, presenting a romantic indie pop sound. Produced by Williams and collaborator Daniel James, the song’s smooth, syncopated grooves evoke the style of Phoenix. Notably, Williams previously sampled Phoenix’s 2017 track “Fior di Latte” on her recent song “Love Me Different.”
