Actor Finn Wolfhard shared his thoughts on the conclusion of Netflix’s acclaimed series Stranger Things, describing it as an ending "bigger than I could have imagined." The show, which began in 2016 and follows the mysteries of Hawkins, Indiana starting in 1983 with the disappearance of Will Byers, will wrap up with its fifth and final season.
Speaking with SFX, as noted by What’s On Netflix, Wolfhard discussed how he feels about his character’s resolution in the final chapter.
“I was definitely, definitely pleased with it,”
he said, adding that the finale offered a sense of closure beyond what he expected.
“It was something that I feel was bigger than I could have imagined. Reading the final part was a super emotional experience.”
According to Wolfhard, the new season raises both emotional and narrative intensity. He revealed that it merges large-scale action with deeply personal stakes.
“It becomes personal in a lot of ways,”
he explained, noting that the sets built for this season are among the largest in the series’ history.
Outside of Stranger Things, Wolfhard recently confirmed he is developing a biopic about the influential rock band The Replacements.
