Bulldogs Sign Free Agent Forward Joey Sinclair

Brantford Bulldogs General Manager Spencer Hyman announced the signing of forward Joey Sinclair from the Sherwood Park Crusaders to a Standard Players Agreement beginning with the 2026–27 OHL season.

Sinclair, a native of Hamilton, Ontario, has demonstrated consistent offensive growth throughout his career. At the U16 AAA level with the Southern Tier Admirals in 2022–23, he recorded 17 goals and 30 assists for 47 points in 36 games. In the following 2023–24 U18 AAA season, he elevated his performance to 19 goals and 39 assists, totaling 58 points in 34 games.

In 2024–25, Sinclair stepped up to junior competition with the Burlington Cougars of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), where he tallied 21 goals and 40 assists for 61 points in 53 games and earned a spot on the OJHL Second All-Prospect Team.

Currently, during the 2025–26 season, Sinclair has become an offensive leader for the Sherwood Park Crusaders, accumulating 7 goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 14 games to start the year.

Looking ahead, Sinclair has committed to continue his hockey career at Bowling Green University for the 2027–28 season, joining fellow Bulldogs prospects Camron Hankai and Sam McCue.
